yes, should be 7786c32c884943fd97a923fcf875bfce4907bc1a

cool ty
<SSL>
I was wondering why the developers feel that forcing bitcoin to scale sideways with layer 2 solutions that make it more complicated and less useful were a better choice than scaling with larger blocks that would have made life simple for everyone.
<SSL>
instead now nobody can use it for anything. buy bitcoin --> ??? --> profit?
<pinheadmz>
SSL probably a better question on stackexchange
<instagibbs>
stackeexchange 2015
<SSL>
i think the people here know more.
<pinheadmz>
or #bitcoin
<pinheadmz>
in a tweet: bigger blocks force everyone to parse more data. L2 doesnt
<SSL>
in a tweet: my computer is more powerful than it was in 2009
<pinheadmz>
that must be nice!
<SSL>
i'll be honest, it's one of the few things in life that still bothers me. is that bitcoin was made intentionally unusable and nobody will admit why, even though people know why.
<instagibbs>
sdaftuar having trouble keeping up on #28676 due to conversation history length.
<instagibbs>
that's my thoguht, perhaps once the last big txgraph pr is in?

as much as I like clicking "see more" 300 times

<sdaftuar>
sure -- you think i should wait for the txgraph pr or just go for it now? i'm aware of 2 review comments that i was planning to address still
<SSL>
pinheadmz: so your point is that you have hardware from 2009 and don't want the blockchain transactions to grow too quickly so you don't need to get new hardware to process all the transactions and can't figure out how to sync an initial download better?
<instagibbs>
up to you, I expect that review will kick up another notch once txgraph memopt stuff is in
<instagibbs>
darosior nice, works for now :)
<SSL>
pinheadmz: on the plus side, now nobody uses it to transact so you won't even need new hardware anymore.
