prayank: yes - a pilot program with only students from India. I think there will be an official announcement of SoB in the next days
b10c: Maybe I should respond on the mailing list but what is the rationale for opting out of re-orgs? Isn't the point of Signet to replicate the conditions of mainnet? In which case your application needs to withstand re-orgs
It would also be cool if Signet blocks were filled with transactions so you can test fee based stuff (RBF etc)
I guess this proposal makes re-orgs more regular than they are on mainnet but they still resemble what you'd encounter eventually on mainnet
michaelfolkson: I can't think of any practical scenario right now where I would want to ignore to-be-reorged blocks, but I think it's good to give people the option to ignore them if the explicitly want or need to. Also, that's part of the feedback I'm hoping to get.
b10c: Fair enough. If you don't want replication of mainnet conditions I think you'd just use regtest locally or your own custom signet but we'll see
