ariard: CoreDev still looking good for France?
< jonatack>
jamesob: yes. we should add you to the coredev chat.

psa: people coming from outside of Europe, easiest travel is likely to be a flight to Paris, then Paris-Biarritz (1:15 flight time).... ensure both flights are to/from the same Paris airport (e.g. Charles de Gaulle or Orly) and you're good
< jonatack>
that said, Biarritz has a quite a few intra-Europe flight connections so there's flexibility
< laanwj>
doesn't look like there are direct connections from anywhere in Netherlands to Biarritz, closest is from Brussel
< laanwj>
it's doable with an intermediate stop in Paris, or by train i guess :)
< jonatack>
(fwiw i enjoy the train, uninterrupted time to think/read/work...paris-biarritz is usually a fairly quiet and good train, takes 4 hours, go for first class as it's not much more expensive than second class)
< jonatack>
(2 hours at 300 km/h to bordeaux, then 2 hours casual and slow for the remainder, as the basque country is historically independent-minded and somewhat cut off)
< kanzure>
jonatack: also add me thank you. didn't know if it was finalized.
< laanwj>
ohhh of course, that's also a possibility, to take the train after landing in France (i was thinking of taking the train to Brussels, it's not *that* much longer than Amsterdam) then flying from there to Biarritz
< sipa>
or just train all the way? :)
< jonatack>
yes. i'd do train all the way :)
< jonatack>
(from the paris airports to the montparnasse train station in the city isn't super convenient)
