it seems that from August 1st you'll need a pass sanitaire to travel on long-distance public transport. Do we know how easy those are to get for non-French/non-Europeans?
< jonatack>
the pass sanitaire law is in an accelerated process of congressional debate this week. details are emerging.

b10c: do you have stats about how many RBF-signaling transaction are actually being replaced? I think we should (re-)include replacement transaction for fee estimation.
< b10c>
darosior: I do have data about RBF'ed transactions, but haven't distilled it into stats/insights. happy to do so if needed
< b10c>
currently, there are between 2000 and 6000 replacements per day
< darosior>
Oh, cool. Yeah would love so if it isn't too much burden
< darosior>
prayank: `gettransaction` is only for in-wallet transactions.
< prayank>
Yes. But there is no other RPC which returns `replaced_by_txid`
< prayank>
darosior: Workaround that you suggested in comment is cool `debug=mempool`. Although you would have to save lot of data locally by running a node 24/7 and still miss some of the replaced transactions which got confirmed.

note the project law is still under discussion by the french parliament at that time
